Open for business, Poquito Mas makes great burritos! I've been coming here for more than 25 years. Same great quality, same great taste, same great service. If you haven't stopped by, make it a point to treat yourself. And if you like your burrito saucy, order mojado. You won't be disappointed.
Food wasnt that good for the price... at all. At 12$ per burrito I was sorely missing a roach coach!
I hadn't visited Poquito Mas in a couple of years since I moved, but food is still Great! I ordered the tostada with shrimp, and It was delicious :)
Really good FRESH Mexican food prepared to order. As simple as it may be, my favorite item was the bean and cheese with sour cream. The quesadillas were a hit too!
this is one of my favorites Mexican restaurant, the food is always very good, my special dish here is the chicken nachos.
This spot is worth a visit. They have large portions for convenient rates. Regularly well kept and with good mood. Would recommend to others.
The food is good, but the uniformity of the portions leaves much to be desired. Poquito Mas hands down is our favorite go to spot for bean & cheese burritos. It's the homemade tortillas and the fact that they toast it too. We've been coming here for years now and lately the cooks have been real chintzy with the beans. As you will see by the photos shared, my burrito was only half full. Not to mention you ask for extra cheese, get charged for the extra cheese, but don't really get the value of extra cheese that you would hope for. Other Poquito Mas locations have been better — namely Burbank and Encino.Lastly, you used to get a nice scoop of guacamole plopped into the dish with your quesadilla, but not anymore; portion control is in effect. That I can understand, but refried beans? Get outta here.
Still as good as ever. This was my first trek here since Covid quarantine hit and I'm happy to report they are still fully staffed, have plenty of foot traffic for to-go orders and are offering curbside pickup and no-contact delivery. I'm happy because it looks like they'll survive Covid - I was worried they'd be struggling and close like many other local smaller establishments.
Good chicken tacos, with plenty of filling, bit to much juice though. Very tasty
Food is good! Not so Mexican but either so American
This is my favorite Mexican food. I usually get the Mas chiladas. There used to be a location in Torrance that we'd go to once a week. When that closed, my wife would bring it home on the way from work. Unfortunately her job changed and we don't get poquito very often.
Good food fast service
I love this place, their home made tortillas it’s a plus oh here the tacos are really azada (charbroiled ) not like other. The flavor it’s so yummy!!
I liked the fresh tortilla on my taco. I also got a shrimp plate with rice and beans. It had guacamole on the side. Overall I thought the food was under seasoned and bland. I was excited to try a new local place, but wasn't thrilled.
Funnily enough, it need a LITTLE MORE flavor to the meat. The meat in our burritos and tacos didn't seem seasoned at all, but overall the food was pleasant. We would come back again. The tortillas are fresh and definitely taste like it. They're amazing. The watermelon juice and melon juice was really good. Seating is adequate for such a popular restaurant and the prices for food ate fair.
Had a shrimp burrito by far the worse burrito I have ever had. You guys should taste what you make from time to time. Never get a shrimp burrito here.
Was very fortunate to be in the area and found this place. Fantastic Mexican food. The steak tacos were amazing. And the shrimp burrito was probably one of the best I've ever had. Even the salads looked mouth watering.
Great food, Tortillas are the closest to authentic Mexican taste.
One of the best fast food Restaurants. The food taste so good. Tiny small place the one in Lankershim...but food is excellent service is good and fast.Price is good. Super. Highly recommended if you are in a hurry or....very hungry and want something good..fast ans inexpensive
Delicious. I had the tuna tacos 😋
Salsa bar is always great, the price is high for what you get. There are better options but the Mas is still better than Baja Fresh any day of the week.
We had nachos and a burrito. They didn't skimp on the cheese for the nachos which was great. The chips were crisp and a good portion. The burrito was cooked and folded well so it wouldn't fall apart or anything like that. Good quality for the amount you're paying, the salsa bar had a lot of good options and all tasted good. The service was fast and precise. Good outside setting for a night out or date.
A good solid option for tacos and burritos. I'm a fan of the mucho más burrito: served with black or pinto beans, rice, fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, Jack cheese, and fresh guacamole. You have to keep an eye on them though. The last time I ordered takeout, I ordered a steak burrito but I received a chicken burrito. It was still good, but it wasn't what I wanted.
This ain’t no tacos, no flavor, supposedly their hottes Chile sauce and it was not even spicy.. this place is trash
Their classic chicken is awesome.. Evertime my guy in I are in town we always stop by
Absolutely the best! The most amazing shrimp tacos I've ever had! The mahi tacos were delicious as well.
I believe this is the OG Poquito Mas, and even though parking can be a complete pain, the burrito is well worth it - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Always fast and quick service when I go here for my lunch!
It's the original and the best. the nature grill burrito, add simmered chicken (which is all they used to offer, no grilled) is my fave.
love the chicken mucho mas buritto its huge, and farmers market burrito when they have the veggies. Great ice tea too.
Kind of watered- down
I never write reviews but this Poquito is the Más! Lunch time can be super crowded and the wait times are large during rush hour. But the food is on point. Love me their vegitarian burrito. Lots of beans veg and guacamole. Super fresh and the salsa's good too.
The food is always good, however the staff is consistently rude. They act as though they are doing me a favor. Always abrupt, never a smile, forget a greeting.
Burrito had a lot of grease in it; take the Tacos they looked much better!
If you're familiar with other locations, this one is pretty consistent. Unfortunately, the parking situation is pretty bunk. Really tiny lot shared with a couple other restaurants. Street parking is pretty gnaf as well as this is a pretty busy strip. You may get lucky and find something close. Be prepared to find parking off site and walk.
Yummy, no frills Mexican food at a great price.
Probably the best fast mexican food around. Tortillas are fresh made and organic. They open til 12am Monday-Sunday.
I was happy to find Poquito Mas after paying high prices for mediocre food at Universal Studios. The food was great, fast friendly service, and good prices. Delicious salsa bar.
This is my fav Poquito Mas location. Parking can be difficult, but food and service is great.
Food was absolutely great, got the San Lucas burrito. Super tasty. But, the service was horrible. Wasn’t treated very well at all. For example, I asked for water in my cup after my meal and the employee put water on top of he root beer that was already in my cup. Just an upsetting lack of customer service...
Best steak tacos!
Absolute garbage. Rude employees, terrible food, high prices.
Very consistent good quality food. Nice and clean place to eat. Highly recommended.
I love this place. Price and quality are very good. Chicken enchiladas are one of my favorites
The best steak BURRITOS...love it
Really tasty food and friendly staff. Great place!
Wonderful food not too 3xpensive friendly staff walking dist from Blvd hotel
They have a way of making the burrito tortilla crispy that makes them so nice. Any shrimp dish is extra delicious.
It is yummy Especially the nachos and the carne asada burrito
Great fast food Mexican spot. It's right off the freeway so if you are in a jam and need something quick, they do let you call in order for pick up. Be warned, if you pick up, they do not provide the salsa for you. You must get it yourself from the bar. That's a good and a bad thing. They don't limit you to how many small containers of salsa you can get. 😁😁😁😁. The food can be a little greasy but I've never had anything not taste fresh or not prepared properly from this location. Chips are above mediocre but not great. A little bland, especially if you like salty chips. Be prepared to add that your self, the packets are next to the door when you walk in. Other than that, great location off the freeway if you are passing through studio city. They also have an outdoor seating area. Great if you have a dog!
